Peter Nigel Stuckey Clark, FIA dies Age 59 - He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep on Sunday 11 June 2006. A devout Christiann his burial took place on 22 June 2006 with a befitting thanksgiving service. Our thought and prayers continue to remain with his family: Wife Lynda and 3 Children - Rachel, Ben and Dan. In Peter Clark, 3E Foundation sadly lost a friend, founding supporter and member of its new Advisor Board. He was a truly great man.

He was committed to the development of the Actuarial Profession in Africa out of his heartfelt love for the continent. We have been advised by his family that his entire library is to be donated to the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

The Foundation would be working with the family to decide on a worthy lasting memorial to Peter. We will miss him dearly.

3E Foundation at Joint Actuaries Office in Hong Kong

3E Foundation had the oportunity (June 2006) to visit the Joint Actuaries Offcie in Hong Kong where it met with the Pat KUm Liaison at the Joint Actuaries Office and Stuart Leckie, FIA the resident actuary representing the Actuarial Profession in Hong Kong. The Joint Office was set up, in part by the Actuarial profession, to meets its strategy to develop the Actuarial Profession in China. It is a step for 3E towards sharing learning and fostering exchanges between the Actuarial Profession in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.
