This site is provided for information only. 3E Foundation does not sell products, process payments, or engage in e-commerce. The personal data we collect is limited to what you voluntarily submit through our enquiry form or chat widget.
1. Who We Are
3E Foundation (formerly UK Registered Charity no. 1090314, now dissolved) is a philanthropic organisation focussed on education, empowerment, and community development in Nigeria and across Africa. The Foundation was established by Olawale Opayinka and is working toward re-incorporation as 3E Foundation Nigeria.

2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect only the data you choose to provide to us. This occurs through two channels on this website:
2.1 Contact & Enquiry Form
- Your name
- Your email address
- The subject of your enquiry (selected from a list)
- The message you write
This data is submitted via Formspree (see Section 5) and delivered to admin@3efoundation.org. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry.
2.2 Chat Enquiry Widget
- Your name (as provided)
- Your email address (as provided)
- The text of messages you type in the chat panel
Chat conversations are submitted to admin@3efoundation.org via Formspree when the session completes. We use this data solely to respond to your message.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you have chosen to initiate) and consent (you voluntarily submit information to contact us). We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than responding to your specific enquiry.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
Enquiry correspondence is retained for a reasonable period to allow us to respond and maintain a record of communications, typically no longer than 24 months from the date of the enquiry. You may request deletion at any time by emailing admin@3efoundation.org.
5. Third-Party Services
This website uses the following third-party services that may process personal data or set cookies:
5.1 Formspree
Our contact form and chat widget submit data to Formspree, Inc. (US-based), which processes form submissions and delivers them to our email inbox. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf. See Formspree's Privacy Policy for details of their data handling.
5.2 Google Fonts
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which requires a connection to Google's servers. Google may log the request (including your IP address) for performance and abuse-prevention purposes. Google Fonts does not use this data for advertising. See Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.
6. Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. This site uses a minimal number of cookies:

We do not use:
- Advertising or tracking cookies
- Analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no similar tools)
- Social media tracking pixels
- Any cookie that tracks you across other websites
Managing cookies: You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking performance cookies (Google Fonts cache) may affect the visual appearance of the site but will not affect its function. Blocking the consent cookie means the banner will reappear on each visit.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation where applicable, and Nigeria’s Nigeria Data Protection Regulation), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing, or request restriction of processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

8. Data Security
Enquiry data is transmitted via HTTPS (encrypted in transit) and delivered to a secured email inbox. We do not store form submission data on this website itself — all data passes through Formspree to email. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
9. International Transfers
Formspree is a US-based service. When you submit an enquiry, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. Formspree is committed to GDPR compliance for EU residents. If you have concerns about international transfers, please contact us before submitting a form.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
